About Us

Knitting Notions is a small family owned and operated business. Most of what is in our store is handmade by us, this includes the Swifts, Shawl Pins, Sock Keepers, Sock Blockers and hand dyed yarns. We have ball winders from LACIS because these were too costly for us to produce ourselves. We stock books from Interweave press, and Blocking Wire Kits.  We buy all our yarns from a reputable distributor.

We established our business with the introduction of our first product, yarn swifts. We handcraft them individually in our own woodworking shop.

We have since added to our stock hand-dyed natural fiber yarns.
