Hand turned wood shawl pins are made in the same woods that we make our swifts from; Mahogany, Cherry, Walnut and Exotics. These are NOT made from ready made dowels. They are all individually designed and turned on a lathe in our own shop, with great attention to detail and quality. There is only ONE available in each style, since each is a one of a kind original piece. DO NOT ORDER QUANTITIES OF MORE THAN 1 PER ITEM # They are finely sanded until smooth and have an oil finish like our swifts. They also have a top coat of polyurethane for a durable glossy finish.

We make them in several lengths, ranging from 4 inches to about 6½ inches. The diameters are different as well. All will work for shawls or scarfs. We have also used them as a hair stick (bun stick).
