An Australian Merino wool yarn in a light worsted to DK weight. It is soft, springy, and silky smooth. It is soft enough for next to skin wear. Perfect for baby and children’s items as well as adults.
Hanks from older dyelots are 4 oz. which is about 280 yds. We have changed our put up weight to 100g skeins on newer dyelots, which yield approx. 247 yards. Recommended gauge is 5 to 5.5 sts. per inch on #7-8 US needles. Hand wash and dry flat as with any wool.
