Hand knitting Pattern for a Infant or Toddler size Sundress. The pattern is written for a worsted weight cotton knit to a gauge of 18s x 28r = 4 inches. It could also be knit in a similar weight merino or wool blend for a cool weather jumper. Try our
Classic Merino Worsted,

It would only take 2 skeins of these yarns to make this cute little dress. It would make a great gift for any new mother!

Finishing
Weave in all ends. Wash and block pieces for ease in seaming. Sew side seams using mattress stitch.
Edging Attach yarn at one of the underarm seams and work SC completely around all edges. NOTE Don’t pick up a stitch for every row when working on the straps. Skip about every 3rd row so your edging won’t flare.
Sew on buttons.
